The systems include the Marins INS inertial navigation system, the Netans DDU data distribution unit, and the Gecdis-W WECDIS (Warship Electronic Chart Display and Information System), integrated into the digital cybersecurity architecture of the frigates.

The FDIs are next-generation multi-mission ships capable of carrying out various war missions with advanced combat systems and an integrated and resilient digital infrastructure to cyber threats.

This integration allows the FDIs equipped by Exail to achieve superior performance and operate effectively even in complex and contested environments.

Exail’s navigation systems for the Hellenic Navy’s FDI frigates are designed to provide high performance and resilience in challenging conditions, ensuring continuous and accurate navigation data.

The Marins INS ensures precise navigation, the Netans DDU guarantees secure sharing of cyber data, and the Gecdis-W WECDIS offers advanced digital map display capabilities.

Exail and Naval Group are collaborating to integrate these systems, demonstrating commitment to providing secure and advanced solutions for naval operations. The long-term partnership reflects the trust placed by Naval Group in Exail’s ability to support next-generation naval capabilities, as evidenced by the success of the systems implemented on the Marine Nationale’s FDI frigates.
