Denmark Acquires Tens of Thousands of Colt GV M/25 Rifles
The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has announced that it has signed a contract with Colt Canada for the purchase of 26,000 GV M/25 rifles to be distributed to the Armed Forces and the National Guard.
The new rifle, named GV M/25 C8 MRR, which is a new version of the popular C8 family from Colt Canada, will be delivered in two colors; light brown and matte.
The contract includes the purchase of thirteen thousand rifles in both colors with the option to purchase an additional number in the future.
The delivery of the first 26,000 rifles should be completed by the end of 2026.
