Rome, January 22. A three-day visit to the Italian capital by the Iraqi delegation, led by the Deputy Secretary General of Defense of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Tameem Hussein M. Kadhim Al-Tameemi, concluded today. Notably, yesterday, the Secretary General of Defense and Deputy National Director of Armaments, Dr. Luisa Riccardi, welcomed Dr. Al-Tameemi, reaffirming the commitment and mutual trust between the two countries.
The Iraqi delegation also visited the General Directorate Commiservizi and, this morning, was received at Palazzo Guidoni, the headquarters of the Secretariat General of Defense/National Armaments Directorate (DNA). There, department heads outlined the key activities of several divisions—spanning Personnel, Industrial Policy, and International Relations.
