Additional Funds for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter’s ALIS and ODIN Program

The Naval Air Systems Command in the United States, based at Patuxent River in Maryland, has allocated an amendment worth $250 million to Lockheed Martin Corp. It applies to a previously awarded fixed-price contract (fixed target, indefinite time and indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract) for the F-35 JSF’s autonomous logistics information system.

This amendment increases the contract ceiling to ensure the continuous production of the F-35’s logistics information system, which includes both the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), the Autonomous Logistic Information System, and the Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) hardware and the Mission Planning Environment (MPE), as well as the necessary support for the use of ODIN, MPE and components of any future ODIN and MPE retrofits.

ALIS and ODIN are designed to support the F-35A, F-35B and F-35C Joint Strike Fighters of the USAF, USMC, US Navy, customers of foreign military sales (FMS) and partners of the cooperative F-35 program (including Italy).

The work related to this order will be carried out in Orlando, Florida (95%) and Fort Worth, Texas (5%), and completion is expected by August 2027.

No funding has been committed at the time of the award; funds will be committed on individual orders as they are issued.
