China Airlines Orders Five More Airbus A350-1000 Jets
Taiwanese airline China Airlines has ordered an additional five Airbus A350-1000s, bringing the total number of orders to 15. The planes will join the carrier’s current fleet comprised of 15 A350-900s operating on the company’s long-haul route network.

Features of the A350
The A350 is the most modern widebody aircraft in the world, designed to fly up to 9,800 nautical miles / 18,000 kilometers non-stop, setting new standards for intercontinental travel.
The aircraft incorporates cutting-edge technologies and aerodynamics, offering unmatched standards of efficiency and comfort.
Its latest generation Rolls-Royce engines and the use of lightweight materials delivers a 25% saving in terms of fuel consumption, operational costs, and carbon dioxide (CO₂ ) emissions compared to the previous generation of competing aircraft.
The A350’s exclusive Airspace cabin provides passengers and crews with the latest onboard products for a comfortable flight experience.
Like all Airbus aircraft, the A350 is already capable of operating with sustainable aircraft fuel (SAF) up to 50%. Airbus aims to achieve a 100% SAF capability for its aircraft by 2030.
At the end of November 2025, the A350 Family had received nearly 1,500 orders from 66 customers worldwide.
