KNDS FR has officially announced that the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia has placed an order for 18 Caesar Mk 2 155/52 mm self-propelled guns and 15 VBMR-L Serval 4×4 light multirole armored vehicles.
The Caesar Mk 2
KNDS FR will supply the Croatian Army with 18 Caesar Mk II mounted on ARQUUS chassis and equipped with the ATLAS artillery fire control system and Thales radios, a combination already extensively tested in combat in various challenging operational theaters such as Afghanistan, Mali, and Iraq.
The Serval 4×4
The 15 Serval armored vehicles ordered by Croatian Defence will equip command posts and observation teams that will coordinate the firing direction of the Caesar Mk 2 self-propelled guns.
The Serval VBMR-L or VLTP-P (Véhicule Léger Tactique Polyvalent Protégé) made by KNDS FR is a 4×4 armored vehicle with a maximum weight of 17 tons depending on its configuration, that integrates the common equipment to the SCORPION program vehicles, an initiative aimed to modernize and enhance the main combat lines of the French Armée de Terre.
