Embraer Delivers Second Hungarian C-390 Millennium

Embraer announced the delivery of its second multirole C-390 Millennium to the Hungarian Air Force.

The ceremony took place at the Kecskemét Air Base, in the presence of Hungarian Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky and other Embraer officials and executives.

Service Since 2024

Since entering service at the end of 2024, the first Hungarian Millenium carried out a wide range of missions with a completion rate exceeding 99%.

With the delivery of its second aircraft, Hungary becomes the first C-390 operator to receive all contractually stipulated units.

Wide Range of Missions

The Milleniums will carry out a wide range of military and civilian missions, including medical evacuation, humanitarian aid, search and rescue, transportation and launching of goods and troops, parachute operations, and in-flight supply.

Notably, the Hungarian C-390s are the first in the world to be equipped with a modular roll-on/roll-off Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU).
