ICEYE, a global leader in SAR satellite operations, was chosen to provide ISR systems to the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), thereby improving the defense capabilities of the Netherlands.

To this end, ICEYE will supply the RNLAF with four high-resolution SAR satellites, a terrestrial segment, and an AI-driven intelligence hub, in addition to the sale of satellite data. This collaboration will allow RNLAF to launch its first military satellite mission promptly, just four months from the contract’s signing. The speed of delivery underlines ICEYE’s ability to provide sovereign ISR resources in line with the Netherlands’ defense strategies. The collaboration between ICEYE, the Royal Netherlands Air Force, and the Dutch Ministry of Defense has accelerated the implementation of national defense and space strategies, providing the Netherlands with independent ISR capabilities. For its part, ICEYE will intensify collaboration with the Netherlands and the local industry, enhancing the high-technology defense and space industry. ICEYE’s non-ITAR European technology enables rapid provisioning of ISR capabilities and the sharing of such capabilities with other nations for optimum resource use.
