#### Denmark
The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has reported the completion and signing of the procurement procedure for new M60A6 machine guns, within just six weeks.

This model, already used by the Danish Armed Forces, has a caliber of 7.62×51 mm, and weighs 9.27 kg. Its firing rate is reduced to 500-600 rounds per minute, resulting in better weapon control, greater shooting accuracy, less ammo consumption, easier shooting positions, and a reduced risk of potential collateral damage.
The Danish Armed Forces use the M60A6 with the national C79 LMG optic.
The purchase of these machine guns is financed through the Acceleration Fund and by the end of 2025, all ordered weapons will be delivered.
The new M60A6s will primarily be assigned to the Royal Army, but other units will also receive them.
Along with the machine guns, blank-firing kits are also being procured for use during exercises.
#### Germany
The Bundeswehr has announced an ambitious program to expand its fleet of remotely piloted aircraft, aiming to provide Germany with the highest number of UAS in Europe.

According to this plan, approved by Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the number of UAS will increase from about 600 units currently to over 8,000 aircraft by 2029.
There are plans to purchase 1,200 nano-UAVs and drones for short-range observation and data collection missions, as well as about 3,000 mini-UAVs for short-range ISR.
In addition, the ministry plans to purchase 800 new UAVs to serve as communication relays and loitering munitions for precision attacks.
The naval sector would also benefit from remotely piloted naval systems, with a large number expected to be acquired.
