Avon Protection supplies the DoD with the M50 CBRN respirator, which provides protection against CBRN threats and is used by all branches of the Armed Forces.
This contract, the ordered materials of which will be delivered in 2026, reaffirms Avon Protection’s enduring partnership with the US DoD and the ongoing investment in protecting military personnel against CBRN threats.

The M50 CBRN respirator features a revolutionary, flexible, cast-eye visor that offers wide and optically correct vision, in addition to being impact and scratch resistant.
Conformal curved and fitting filters provide better weight distribution and reduced breathing resistance, as well as increased protection against toxic industrial agents.
An integrated electronic communication port allows for the installation of an internal microphone for communication systems.
Furthermore, a high-flow hydration attachment allows for quick and easy fluid intake.
