During the State Visit to Italy by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Italian Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, signed a Defense Cooperation Agreement between the two nations.
Minister Crosetto stated: “This signing represents a concrete step to intensify our collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, a nation with which we share not only a strong friendship but also a common vision and commitment to global stability and security. In the defense sector, it is essential to collaborate, grow our Armed Forces together, and establish a strategic partnership for Italy’s defense industry.”
The agreement solidifies the UAE’s role as a key partner for Italy in the Gulf region.
The pact between Italy and the United Arab Emirates outlines broad cooperation not only in the military domain but also at the industrial level, with the aim of further strengthening ties between the two countries in defense and security.
