In Sweden, Ovzon has secured a significant order valued at 1.04 billion Swedish Krona, or roughly 96 million euros, from Försvarets materielverk (FMV), the Defense Procurement Administration. The order includes integrated SATCOM services, mobile satellite terminals, and customer service.
The contract will last for 24 months, with deliveries starting in June 2025.
The order encompasses Ovzon’s “Hero” SATCOM service and a wide range of mobile satellite terminals, with a third of the terminals delivered immediately and the rest gradually.
The satellite network services part is a renewal and expansion of the previous contract.
Ovzon’s CEO, Per Norén, expressed gratitude for FMV’s trust and highlighted that this is the company’s largest order, confirming the success of the Swedish technology enabling accelerated growth and greater relevance in key markets.
