Saab Unveils Nimbrix, the Anti-Drone Missile System

In Sweden, to counter the threat of drones on the battlefield, Saab has swiftly developed the Nimbrix missile, providing an economical Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) with tracking and takedown capabilities up to 5 km in range.

The Nimbrix missile is designed to function both independently and within a broader defense system, with flexible mounting options for various needs.

The Nimbrix will be equipped with an active search system, it will have a hard-kill warhead, will present a small size and cost to enable widespread adoption.

The system will be capable of dealing with both individual UAS and swarms of remotely piloted aircraft.

The Nimbrix can be employed from launchers on vehicles or from fixed installations and can be integrated into multilayer air defense systems.

Saab plans to start deliveries as early as 2026 and will present the Nimbrix at the DSEI in London next fall.
