Saab’s Simulation Systems for The Spanish Army

Saab announced that it has received its first order from the Spanish Army for the supply of individual duel simulation systems. The order includes a mix of supplies and services, featuring Saab’s advanced infantry systems and exercise control to be used across various units of the Spanish Army.

Details of The Contract

This is the first order as part of a framework agreement between the Spanish Army and Saab, with a maximum potential value of around 34 million euros.

The agreement includes Saab’s live training equipment GAMER, which includes Personal Detection Devices (PDD), weapon kits, and Manpack systems. It also provides the option to add additional training capabilities.

Saab’s Implementation

Saab will now install its training systems in Spain, in collaboration with local partner Tecnobit; this will enable realistic, real-time training at various Regiments across Spain.

Saab’s Live Training Systems

Saab’s live training systems are known for their realism and interoperability, enabling soldiers and commanders to train in a simulated environment that accurately mirrors real-world conditions. This immersive experience enhances situational awareness, decision-making capabilities, and overall operational readiness.

The systems provided under this contract will enable the Spanish Army to conduct a wide range of training activities, from small unit tactics at various units to potential large-scale multinational future maneuvers.
