Qatar Navigation Q.P.S.C. (“Milaha“), a foremost provider of maritime and logistics solutions in the region, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fincantieri, one of the world’s major shipbuilding groups specialized in the construction of highly complex ships, operating in four continents. The agreement outlines a framework for potential cooperation in areas like maritime services, project management, and technological integration.

Present at the signing ceremony in Doha were Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and General Manager of Fincantieri, and Dario Deste, General Manager of the Military Ships Division for Fincantieri. Participating for Milaha were the Group’s Chairman, His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani, and the Group’s CEO, Fahad Saad Al-Qahtani.
Both parties expressed the shared willingness to explore further opportunities in support of Qatar’s national development goals, with a specific focus on strengthening the sovereign capabilities of the maritime sector.
