Patria Group has announced successful firing trials of the new mobile artillery system ARVE (ARtillery on VEhicle) that was unveiled at the Arctic Event in Lapland held in recent months.
The ARVE is based on the 155K98 cannon which has been integrated with the high mobility off-road Sisu truck chassis.
This Patria system is compatible with the 155K98 systems and Sisu vehicles in service with the Finnish Defense Forces, the 155 mm NATO ammunition, and it has passed firing trials successfully.
With its mobility, high rate of fire, and ability to hit naval targets, Patria’s solution offers advanced technology at advantageous costs.
Modular and adaptable to various vehicle platforms, it integrates into indirect fire control systems for greater effectiveness in artillery operations.
The trials it has undergone have confirmed the reliability and high performance of the ARVE system, designed to meet the requirements of the national and international customers.
