Avincis received today, two five-blade H145 helicopters from Airbus, at the production facility in Donauwörth, Germany. The aircrafts are destined for Stockholm, where they will further strengthen the existing Avincis’s Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) fleet operating in Sweden.

These latest acquisitions further reaffirm Avincis’s commitment to investing in advanced and mission-ready aircraft, supporting its global network.
Avincis Expansion in Sweden
The delivery today follows the previous one, which took place successfully in August 2024, of another two five-blade H145 aircraft, one of which also joined the Swedish fleet, demonstrating a strategic and consistent approach to operational growth.
Delivered in collaboration with the prestigious lessor LCI, the two new helicopters join the Avincis-LCI portfolio, which includes a diversified global fleet of aircraft for critical missions.
The global fleet of Avincis currently counts around 60 Airbus aircraft, crucial to ensure safe, reliable and continued air emergency services in Europe, Africa and South America.
John Boag, CEO of the Avincis Group, said: “The deliveries today reinforce our trust in the worldwide market of air emergency services, demonstrating the robustness of our fleet strategy and the operational resilience of our teams. We are proud to be able to offer our customers the latest technologies and the most advanced aircraft models, to meet every operational need. The building of solid and long-lasting partnerships is the key to the success of our business, which aims to become the leading global operator in air emergency services“.
Jaspal Jandu, CEO of LCI, added: “We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Avincis through the delivery of these latest-generation H145 helicopters. We share the commitment to provide essential emergency medical services and we are certain these advanced aircraft will enhance Avincis’s HEMS operations in Sweden, ensuring patients have access to modern, reliable, and well-equipped vehicles exactly when they need it most“.
“We are proud that the H145 continues to play a fundamental role in enhancing Avincis’s HEMS fleet and in supporting critical and life-saving missions in Stockholm“, commented Daniela Dudek, in charge of the H145 program at Airbus Helicopters. “The five-blade H145, with its high availability rates, compact footprint and the lowest CO₂ emissions and noise impact in its category, is perfectly suited to operate in urban and narrow areas such as those often found in the Stockholm region“.
